Our primary focus is on the installation and maintenance of aerial and underground power distribution systems from 400V to 33kV. NETcon provides a 24/7 faults service to our clients to maintain electricity supply to 43,000 customers.
NETcon successfully responded to the 2006 snow storm which was the largest storm on record. Despite extensive damage to the entire network, restoration of power to 25,000 effected customers was achieved within three weeks.
NETcon also acted in response to the windstorm in September 2013 which caused multiple outages within minutes. Over 100 power poles were down, and more than 1000 household in South Canterbury lost power which got reinstated within a few days.
