Our primary focus is on the installation and maintenance of aerial and underground power distribution systems from 400V to 33kV. NETcon provides a 24/7 faults service to our clients to maintain electricity supply to 43,000 customers.
NETcon successfully responded to the 2006 snow storm which was the largest storm on record. Despite extensive damage to the entire network, restoration of power to 25,000 effected customers was achieved within three weeks.
NETcon also acted in response to the windstorm in September 2013 which caused multiple outages within minutes. Over 100 power poles were down, and more than 1000 household in South Canterbury lost power which got reinstated within a few days.
Our Clients Include
We have a fully integrated procurement and stores function managing stock to the value of $780,000.00 for both NETcon and the parent company Alpine Energy Ltd. We also provide accounting and payroll functions for Alpine.
Chief Executive Officer
Starting on the Upper Waitaki scheme, Steve's career path took him to Australia, China and Hong Kong where he held a number of senior management roles in the gas and mining services sectors. Steve brings to NETcon experience across new technologies within the renewable energy field as well as contract management, business development and commercial skills. He joined NETcon in July 2015.
General Manager Operations
Dan joined NETcon in August 2014 with a managing background within high-profile engineering and commercial construction companies. His experience includes over ten years at ANDAR Holdings as General Manager, Operational Manager, and in Sales & Marketing; and prior twelve years as Area Manager at SKF Bearing Services NZ Limited.
